Silvio left Chicago and the family construction business in the late 1970s and pursued a degree in finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign – which he finished in 1981. Shortly after, he decided to attend the Southwestern School of Law in California and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the school’s exclusive SCALE special two-year advanced law program in 1984.
Silvio was immediately hired by the law firm of Madeiras & Grimm, handling the majority of their court appearances. In 1986, Silvio was admitted to the California State Bar. In addition, Silvio was admitted to the U.S. District Court of California in 1995 as well as the U.S. Central District Court in 1998. Silvio went on to display his outstanding litigation skills as an attorney in the law offices of Biesty, Nelson, McCool & Garrety, after which time Silvio joined Dan as partner of Nelson & Natale, devoting his career to representing injured victims against insurance carriers. Silvio loves the courtroom and is well-respected by justices throughout Southern California. A skilled trial lawyer, Silvio knows the personal injury industry inside and out, and is never reluctant to enter a fierce legal battle in order to protect his client's interests. He continues to be a resource and acts as a consultant to other law firms on a regular basis. He holds memberships in the California Trial Lawyers Association, Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Referral Panel.
Kimi Kim attended LA Community College and Valley Community College. She received a Bachelor’s from Cal State Northridge. She currently works at the law firm of Nelson & Natale where she is responsible for multiple administrative functions. These include document preparation for trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Her memory and organization skills are a significant asset to the firm.
Israel began his public service career in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and worked as an EMT paramedic. Specifically for the Mobile CAT Scanning field for some 12 years. He joined the Los Angeles Police Department, as a sworn officer for seven years. He entered hotel management as a security supervisor where he handled day-to-day hotel operations at “Lowe’s Santa Monica.” He acquired A.B.A. certification as a Litigation Paralegal from UCLA extension. For some 15 years, Israel has functioned as a senior paralegal. He assists in trial preparation and all other court appearances as well as the coordination of settlement conferences.
Dan’s childhood days were spent in agricultural school (Future Farmers of America, FFA) on the East coast. When his family moved to San Diego, he entered the field of Commercial Construction as a journeyman Carpenter and after finishing a B.A. at San Diego State University, he accepted the position of Assistant Registrar and Admissions Officer at the University of California, San Diego. He later accepted the position of Director of Admissions at California Western University and went on to Assistant Director of the State Department in Washington D.C. He was recruited when he spent a year, after which he graduated from Northrop University School of Law with a Doctorate in 1981. He joined the firm of Leach, Biesty, & McGreevy here, in Los Angeles, and some three years later, he became a partner – transforming the firm into Biesty, Nelson, McCool & Garrety, an Insurance Defense firm. It was here that he acquired extensive knowledge of the Personal Injury practice defending as many as 25 major insurance companies. Dan was admitted to the California State Bar in 1990, California State Court in 1990, and U.S. District Court in 1991. He has been Commissioner for the State Bar of California. He has also been a member of the California Trial Lawyers Association and Consumer Attorneys of California since the mid-1990s, as well as the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association and the Los Angeles County Bar.
